Share Advanced Medical Practices

At the hospital, Zhao Kewei, Director of the Clinical Lab, and Chen Junxiang, Director of the Department of Laboratory Medicine, warmly welcomed Yitayish Mekonnen, Kalifa Manneh, and their team. The department, as a leading Chinese clinical medicine specialized hospital laboratory, has conducted numerous studies to integrate traditional Chinese medicine with modern medicine, showcasing a highly automated and intelligent testing process.

"It's very amazing that patients can see the test results through their cell phones, and they can also self-printing," remarked Yitayish Mekonnen. The two sides exchanged views on laboratory construction, the application of innovative achievements, talent training, and other aspects, sharing their insights and discussing the challenges in medical testing in China and Africa.

 Spread Innovation to the World

To explore into the innovative practices and achievements in the field of IVD in China, Yitayish Mekonnen, Kalifa Manneh, and their team visited Wondfo. Through visits to Wondfo campus, R&D laboratories, automated production lines, etc., the African delegations gained a comprehensive insight into Wondfo’s intelligent production and global layout. They fully affirmed Wondfo's innovative achievements and efforts in advancing global health.

Yitayish Mekonnen shared his experience with Wondfo, noting that three years ago, the UNECA Healthcare Center introduced Wondfo’s quantitative fluorescence system for cardiac marker testing. "Using whole blood samples, the process is easy to operate and delivers results in 15 minutes, saving a lot of time," he said. Due to its excellent performance, the lab now has six installations.

After this in-depth visit, Yitayish Mekonnen expressed that the laboratory will continue to deepen its cooperation with Wondfo and introduce more product lines to further enhance its testing capabilities.

Driven by innovation, Wondfo will strengthen its technological R&D and actively strive to make biotechnology benefit all.
