The 25th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2024) took place in Munich, Germany from July 22nd to 26th, 2024. The International AIDS Conference stands as a premier global platform for advancing HIV/AIDS response efforts. As the world's largest HIV/AIDS conference, it holds a unique position at the intersection of science, advocacy, and human rights, bringing together scientists, policymakers, healthcare professionals, people living with HIV/AIDS, funders, media, and communities. Wondfo showcased its One Step HIV self-testing products, which received the WHO pre-certification, actively engaging in global health development.


 
AIDS 2024 brought together thousands of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, as well as those working in the field, to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned from the past 40 years of HIV/AIDS response efforts. They also responded to COVID-19, Mpox, and other public health challenges.
 
At the 2024 AIDS conference, Wondfo comprehensively presented One Step HIV self-testing products, receiving significant attention. The $1 HIV self-testing project provided an opportunity for local NGOs in Africa and Southeast Asia to gain an in-depth understanding of the project. They acknowledged Wondfo's efforts in increasing HIV testing accessibility and reducing healthcare resource inequalities, expressing interest in collaboration. Through discussions on cooperation opportunities and strategies, both parties aimed to better adapt to local needs, ensuring the promotion and sustainable development of HIV self-testing projects in these regions.

At this conference, they engaged in in-depth discussions with key figures from these NGOs and national health departments, exploring future directions and opportunities for collaboration. This conference laid a solid foundation for promoting cooperation and advancing the dissemination of HIV rapid testing, helping to provide timely HIV screening support to more regions and making greater contributions to global public health.
 
AIDS 2024 strategically and equitably address this epidemic, signaling to the world that HIV/AIDS response efforts are always united in support of evidence-based, people-centered approaches.
