Prof. Bernardini, Secretary General of the IFCC, is a distinguished expert in laboratory medicine, focusing on clinical molecular biology, pediatric science, and clinical biochemistry. He is a full-time professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and serves as the Director of Clinical Molecular Biology at the university’s affiliated hospital. With extensive theoretical research and practical clinical experience, he is highly regarded in the international medical community.

During his visit to Wondfo’s R&D and manufacturing base in Guangzhou, Prof. Bernardini gained in-depth insights into the company’s innovation system and lean manufacturing system. He praised Wondfo’s strengths in areas such as rapid diagnostics, critical care diagnostics, and smart healthcare systems. Prof. Bernardini expressed great interest in Wondfo's self-developed TLT (thromboelastography) device for coagulation testing, "Its application in operating rooms and emergency departments will play a key role in pre-, intra-, and post-operative monitoring," he noted. "There are few companies offering such products on the market, and it holds great potential."

In response to the growing demand for digital diagnostics, Wondfo has developed an advanced intelligent management system for the POCT field. enabling real-time quality control, digital data management, and visualized monitoring. "This type of system will greatly enhance data management capabilities and real-time monitoring efficiency across diverse applications in Europe, such as central laboratories, hospital departments, and pharmacies," Prof. Bernardini affirmed, emphasizing the potential to significantly improve operational efficiency.
