On October 31, China National Intellectual Property Administration issued the "Notice on Reviewing New and Approved National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises and Advantageous Enterprises in 2022" (source page: https://www.cnipa.gov.cn/art/2022/10/31/art_75_180027.html), and Wondfo Biotech was recognized as one of the 2022 National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises. Five years after 2017 when Wondfo was recognized as one of the national intellectual property advantageous enterprises, it is a further recognition of the company's research and development capabilities and intellectual property management system. 

Top honor for intellectual property management

"National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise" is the top honor and appreciation from the nation to an enterprise's efforts in intellectual property management. A demonstration enterprise, as being a benchmark with influence in industry is supposed to be equipped with strategic mindset for intellectual property management, to make balanced improvements in IPRs creation, application, protection and management, and to be comprehensively competitive in IPRs-related areas.

In 2021, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the 15-Year Plan (2021-2035) on the Development of Intellectual Property Rights, requiring further implementation of IPRs pilot and demonstration, and promoting enterprises, universities, and scientific research institutions to improve their intellectual property management systems.


In accordance with the requirements by China National Intellectual Property Administration regarding the 2022 Demonstration Project for the Development of Intellectual Property Rights Power, Wondfo Biotech is now recognized as one of the 2022 National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprises after corporate assessment, recommendation, reviewing and confirmation and many other procedures. This reflects our independent R&D and innovation capabilities and balanced capabilities in IPRs creation, application, protection and management.

Being an enterprise strong in IPRs, continuously improve management system

As a leading Chinese enterprise in point-of-care testing (POCT) industry, Wondfo Biotech was rated as an Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise in Guangdong Province in 2013, and was recognized as a National Intellectual Property Advantageous Enterprise in 2017, and became an Enterprise Certified in Intellectual Property Management System in the same year. After 5 years of cultivation, Wondfo Biotech has established a relatively comprehensive process and system in IPRs creation, application, protection and management, and implemented and implemented it strictly. 

Wondfo attaches great importance to product technology innovation, and thus has established a sound intellectual property system to protect product technology innovation, and has actively applied for patents. Since the first domestic patent in 2002, Wondfo has applied for more than 700 patents, and more than half of them have been authorized. Wondfo’s first overseas patent was applied in 2007, and there have been 30+ overseas patents till June, 2022. Most of our overseas patents are in US and Europe. In terms of brand protection, Wondfo Biotech has nearly 600 registered trademarks at home and abroad.
