The U-Card Dx™ CT/NG Test is an automated, real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-real time PCR) assay intended for the rapid, in vitro qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), DNA from male or female urine, self-collected vaginal Swab specimens, clinician-collected endocervical or vaginal Swab specimens. The test is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of infection disease sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by CT, NG pathogen.
